Damini Ogulu, widely known as Burna Boy, has expressed his gratitude for the declaration of March 2nd as his day in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.

Previously, the Boston City Council designated March 2nd as ‘Burna Boy Day’ to honor the Grammy-winning artist for his performances and advocacy efforts.

During his ‘I Told Them’ tour in Boston, Burna Boy was formally presented with a plaque by the Council. He shared a photo of himself holding the plaque on stage on his Twitter page, expressing, “I feel incredibly honored and privileged! Thank you, Boston! The goal has always been the same: to bring the world together. We are all so different but all the same! March 2nd, aka Burna Boy Day.”
